LIONS’ Lair is an excellent and exciting competition and I am very happy to be involved with it.

Manufacturing in China has changed dramatically in recent years, with rising costs of raw materials and increased labour costs, which is why product innovation is so important.

The industry needs new ideas to survive and that is why I am backing Lions’ Lair. My company specialises in innovation, we do not produce ‘me too’ products.

I look forward to welcoming the winner (and their guest) at my factory in Zhongshan, China in October.

There is still plenty of time for ERT Weekly readers to enter the competition because final judging does not take place until August.
